Junior Summer Season 2022/23

About our Junior Competition

We have junior Boys and Girls club competitions for kids aged 4-17. Ranging from U8 Miniballers (Mixed), to U18’s Boys and U18’s Girls.

All games are played at Yarrabilba State Secondary College on Monday or Wednesday nights depending on the age group. Games start from 4:30 pm with youngest age groups playing first.

Training day is Friday every week for all clubs. Yarrabilba and Logan Village train at Yarrabilba State Secondary College. Flagstone and Greenbank train at Flagstone State Community College. Training starts at 4pm with youngest age groups starting first.

If your child is nervous about playing games, doesn’t know the rules or just wants to train. We offer a training only option for the season which can be found in the division section of the registration.

Season Cost

$320 for the 20 week season. No weekly game fees!

Early Bird registration special of $295 if registered before the 2nd of October.

Payment plans available at checkout, payment plans are divided into 6 fortnightly payments ($53.33, Excluding BQ fee) through direct debit. First installment at checkout, second installment is due week 1, then every fortnight until paid in full.

If your child is not registered with Basketball Queensland (BQ), registration for BQ will be added during the registration process.

All clubs ask new players to purchase a personalised playing uniform, cost vary club to club, contact your club to find out the cost of their uniform. All club uniforms are reversible, and you can put a name on the back. Most clubs assign numbers.

NEW to this Summer Season!

We are getting new cameras! Now all games will be recorded using the new Pixellot Cameras. You will be able to re-watch the entire game, make your own highlights from the game, share with family and friends or watch the made baskets of the game, all using the Pixellot You App. More information about the new cameras the the game highlights will be sent out at the start of the season. Now you never have to miss a game! Live streaming also coming soon!

FAQ

Do I need to pay the Basketball Queensland fee again?

If your child played last season and registered using basketball connect, no. Basketball Queensland registration is valid for 12 months and covers all Basketball Queensland affiliated competitions.

If not registered with Basketball Queensland, registration fee will be added to the season cost at check out.

However, if your child's registration is due for renewal during the season, the renewal fee will be added when registering for the season.
